Kevin has returned to the desert after a wonderful trip to Long Beach, California and neighboring areas.  It’s always a warm and special feeling to have the welcome mat displayed for the author visit, and it’s very much appreciated, but this one was a little different.  MonroeElem1

At Monroe Elementary, the students were invited to write what they would do if they were Deputy Dorkface. Sean (bottom picture) is eager to motor around his neighborhood without the legal documentation.
