Presentations
Kevin Janison is a seven time Emmy award winning television personality who averages over 100 author presentations per year. He has appeared in schools from Henderson, NV to Henderson, KY. From North Las Vegas to North Carolina. He has been invited to share his dynamic and interactive presentations in schools throughout California, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida and of course… his home, Nevada.
Kevin and the Deputy are guaranteed to entertain, educate and inspire more reading and writing with fun, educational, and interactive assemblies for primary and intermediate students.
The assembly features a reading, a humorous challenge to the students stressing the importance of reading, an interactive journey through the publishing process (from the original outline through editing, illustrating and production while the students identify what changed and why). For the intermediate students, he’ll collaborate with them on a “book” right then and there. They’ll make one up based on events in their lives which has always proven to be hysterical and has shown how much fun they’ll have writing their own books. His passion is contagious and has been known to inspire future authors.
Kevin also speaks on topics such as reading and literacy, the writing process, broadcasting, meteorology, tornado chasing, and is also a popular emcee for organizations and events in the Las Vegas Valley.
